Off Shore & Regulation Rods

   All of these offshore rods are custom made for the individual.  I will build on most manufacturers blanks and will only use quality hardware. These quality rods will not fail when under load. All guides are triple wrapped with a size "D" thread and an under wrap of size "A" thread.

A popular build is on a Calstar RT-80-B with Aftco Big Foot guides. This is shimmed and epoxied into an Aftco #6 curved butt. This rod is intended for Blue Fin Tuna in the Gulf of Maine. The softer 80lb blank partners perfectly with the Aftco curved 130 unibutt. All guides and top allow the wind on swivels.
