    Most all of my rods are made specially for Cod, Pollack, and Haddock fishing in the Gulf of Maine. My goal is to create a quality rod at an affordable price that is comfortable to fish with.

    These rods are for fishing in depths of over 300 feet while using Jigs and weights of over 20 oz. A slow action rod is the most preferred for fishing these conditions by the "Old Timers" but with the new materials on the market today an unlimited variety of blank weights and actions are available. Still, the rod has to be sensitive enough to feel a light Haddock bite but strong enough to raise a steaker Cod or an occasional Tuna.
